I often give homework assignments to my families for bed time. For some reason kids are more talkative at bedtime. Maybe it is their way of procrastinating going to sleep, or maybe their minds review the day and they are open to talking about it. For whatever reason, I encourage parents to create a bed time routine that includes mutual sharing time during tuck ins.
